With this fun, informal course, students will learn to play the Guitar in a variety of styles. An acoustic guitar is required. The course is intended to equip students with the skills necessary to learn different types of music and to give a foundation on which to create their own music should they wish to.

Participants are split into smaller groups by ability and there are two adjoining rooms available. More experienced players are given a selection of demanding music whilst beginners are given a separate syllabus, in order to work towards a level where they can participate in the intermediate class. Please state on the application form if you are a beginner.

The tutor Patrick Johnson, aided by a capable teacher assistant ensure that both groups are given full support and progress well. There will be no session during Royal Ascot week on 18^th June.
