This
course is
structured
in such a
way, that
you can
develop
your
skills in
dressmaking
or soft
furnishings
or
whatever
you fancy
sewing,
with
prior
knowledge
or you
can start
from
scratch.
Basic
dressmaking
allows
you to
create
garments
from
patterns
and to
finish
them with
a
professional
touch, so
if you’re
looking
for the
solution
to that
“nothing
to wear”
problem,
perhaps
you could
make
something
to wear
instead.
Not only
will you
save
money on
clothes
but all
your
outfits
will be
individual,
unique
and
exactly
as you
would
like
them.
For those
who would
like to
experiment
whatever
your
sewing
ability,
you could
learn how
to make
cushions,
to pipe,
frill,
pleat,
make
button
holes and
insert
zips. You
could
also
learn to
make
pelmets,
tie
backs,
valances,
blinds,
plus
Christmas
ideas. A
variety
of
appliqué
techniques
will be
demonstrated
with lots
of ideas
for
boxes,
table and
bed
linen,
waistcoats,
cushions,
quilts
and
pictures.
